How to Add a General Alert Follow
Care Team members can add a general alert to a patient using the menu in the patient header. When an alert is added, the alert icon on the patient header turns red and an entry is added to the Patient Monitoring page. The Care Team can read the alert text by hovering over the alert icon. The alert description will appear.
To add a general alert to a patient:
- In the patient header, click the menu ( ) and then click Add Alert.
The Add General Alert window appears.
- In the window, type the reason for the general alert (maximum 300 characters). This description will appear when a Care Team member hovers over the alert icon in the patient header and on the Patient Monitoring tab in the Alerts section.
- Click OK.
After the page reloads, you can view the alert in the patient header and on the Patient Monitoring page.
