Vivify logistics manages the process of delivering kits to patients, picking up kits from patients, and preparing kits for another patient after use. During this process, kits progress through a series of statuses that are tracked in the Care Team Portal.
Vivify Health manages kits using the following models:
- Full Managed Logistics: Kits are stored in our warehouse and shipped to patients by Vivify’s Logistics team. The kits are never at a customer site.
- Kits with Customer: Vivify Health does the kit reprocessing but not the kit shipping. The customer ships the kits to the patient, but when the program is complete the kit is returned to Vivify’s Logistics team for cleaning. After cleaning and reprocessing, the kit is sent to the customer who then sends it to the patient.
- Hybrid (Warehouse and Customer Site): Kits are housed at both our warehouse and the customers hospital or healthcare location. When a replenishment of kits is needed, the customer makes an order to Vivify’s Logistics team to ship to their location. The customer then gives the kits to patients in person or ships to the patient.
- Customer Controlled: Vivify does not participate in shipping or reprocessing kits. The customer completes all aspects of the process.
Care Team members with the user roles of Kit Administrator or Kit Logistics can view delivery status and history for kits on the Kit Ship/Pickup page.
