How does a patient request a call? Follow
Based on the patient's program, the Phone icon may be available for the patient to receive the assistance of a Care Team member.
The patient can request a call with their remote monitoring care team by selecting the phone icon located in the bottom right corner of the home screen.
- Selecting NOW sends an urgent request to the remote monitoring care team. They will attempt to reach the patient by phone or by video call on the tablet.
- Selecting LATER sends a non-urgent request to the remote monitoring care team. In both cases, the phone icon on the main screen will turn green, indicating that you are waiting for a response from your remote monitoring care team.
- To cancel the call request, the patient can select the green phone icon located on the home screen. Then select CANCEL (the red phone icon). You will be sent back to the main screen, where the phone icon should now be gray. The change in color signifies that you’ve canceled the call, as shown in the first diagram.
