What does the tablet look like when a patient takes a reading? Follow
The patient taps the Login button to log in. If the patient taps one of the device icons, they will only be asked to take an ad hoc reading for that device rather than completing their entire daily pathway.
The tablet instructs the patient to take a reading. If needed, they can tap HELP to watch an instructional video.
After taking a reading, the device will connect via Bluetooth, and the word Connected will display on the tablet under the picture of the device. If the word Connected does not appear, it indicates the device did not establish a connection to the tablet.
Allow 30 to 60 seconds for the device to transmit the reading to the tablet. Don’t be impatient and use the Manual Entry option too soon. The tablet will say the reading aloud. It’s important to verify the reading is correct.
Tap YES to confirm the reading or tap NO to take the reading again.
If the reading does not display on the tablet after 60 seconds, it’s ok to manually enter the reading. It’s most important to keep going and complete the daily Pathway.
